Call for Proposals

Propose a session or workshop for the upcoming MICATA Conference!

MICATA invites proposals for its annual conference scheduled to take place March 23-24, 2024, at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, KS. Proposals on all topics relevant to our profession are welcome, but proposals likely to qualify for professional or continuing education credits will be prioritized.

Use the form below to submit a session, panel, or workshop proposal. Please preview the form and do not begin filling it out until you are prepared to provide all information requested. If you have co-presenters, all co-presenter information (names, emails, and bios) must also be entered at this time. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

MICATA reserves the right to edit all session descriptions and biographical information received. Please spell out all acronyms and abbreviations and review your form for accuracy.

The proposal deadline is February 1, 2024.

I affirm that this proposal is not intended to sell or promote products or services.

If accepted, I understand that MICATA will schedule my presentation based on what works best for the attendees. MICATA is not able to honor specific scheduling requests.

If accepted, I will prepare my presentation to the best of my ability and will meet all deadlines required.

If I become unable to present at the conference for any reason, I will contact MICATA right away at micata@gmail.com.
